Alert Fire and Security have achieved the latest ISO 9001 :2015 standard within their NSI Gold accreditation, a full 12 months ahead of the required deadline.
ISO is the International Standard for Organisation and forms a conformity criteria and assessment. This ensures a set of processes are completed to demonstrate to customers, that a companies product, service or systems meet the requirements of a standard and delivers consistently good quality.
ISO9001:2015 is the flagship of the ISO management systems standard and has recently been updated from the previous 9001:2008 version. The latest edition – BS EN ISO 9001:2015 has been developed to bring it in line with changing business trends and the needs of buyers of products and services.
NSI Accreditation since 1996
The ISO9001:2015 quality mark also forms part of the requirements to achieve NSI Gold. The NSI Gold mark is the greatest perceived value accreditation across the security industry and by the police, fire and rescue services and insurers.
The latest accreditation ensures the ethos of quality and compliance is maintained at Alert Fire and Security, as demanded by Managing Director Trevor Shanley.
Trevor broke records 20 years ago, as the youngest Managing Director to achieve NSI accreditation (previously named NACOSS, National Approval Council for Security Systems).
