AMS Neve, the Burnley-headquartered, industry-leading designers and suppliers of professional audio equipment to the world’s top studios, has celebrated another excellent year’s performance by investing over half a million pounds in advanced manufacturing equipment to meet increased demand of its award-winning product lines.
The investment, which is set to double its printed circuit board production process, is in addition to a further half million pounds recently invested in automatic test and quality control equipment, as well as new Enterprise Resource Planning and advanced assembly guidance software. This extensive increase in output has also resulted in the recruitment of additional staff in both Manufacturing and Research and Development departments to support the growth.
Mark Crabtree OBE, Founder and Managing Director of AMS Neve stated, “We continue to invest heavily in the future to support the growth of the business and to cement our position as the clear first choice of the world’s professional studios, artists and producers. Our policy of making products in Burnley as opposed to off-shoring, ensures that our team of assembly engineers remains in daily touch with our designers and customer-facing staff and means we retain 100% quality control, from design to shipping. This completely integrated team culture allows us to focus entirely on our clients and providing them with the best sounding, best quality products possible. The new investment enables us to gear up output whilst retaining all the best characteristics of this great working environment”.
Recent high profile sales contributing to the increased demand include world-renowned sound stages at 20th Century Fox (Los Angeles), Abbey Road Studios, Sony Music (Japan) and also Hip-Hop superstar Snoop Dogg.
