Don’t miss out on your chance to meet boxing legend Frank Bruno at an exclusive event in Burnley
Boxing legend and national treasure Frank Bruno is heading to Burnley – and you’re invited to enjoy a ‘ringside’ seat at his special event.
Themis at Burnley College is proud to host a select ‘Audience with Frank Bruno’ on
Friday, 20 July, from 8pm
when the former WBC heavyweight champion will answer questions about his life and career, including bouts with Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. From his friendship with BBC boxing commentator Harry Carpenter to his battle with mental illness, the audience will be able to quiz Bruno about the experiences which have kept him in the headlines for 30 years.
Stephanie Coleman, Business Solutions Manager at Themis, the business training and Apprenticeship arm of Burnley College, said:
“Frank Bruno is one of Britain’s best-loved sportsmen and has so many fascinating stories to tell, from his rise to boxing glory and to his much-publicised stay in psychiatric care. The evening will provide the ideal opportunity to ask him about the experiences which have shaped his career and personal life and get a real insight into the man behind the public image.
“It’s going to be a knockout event with the opportunity to have a photograph taken with the boxing great, plus those who choose our ‘meet-and-greet’ tickets will have an unrivalled opportunity to chat to Frank and no doubt enjoy his inimitable sense of humour!”
Two ticket options are available:
- VIP meet-and-greet tickets offer an hour, between 7pm and 8pm, to socialise with Frank Bruno alongside other VIPs, ahead of the main event with photo opportunities. Limited number available for £45 per person.
