Specialist Training and Consultancy Services was formed in 1999 by five training professionals with backgrounds in the Transport, Dangerous Goods and Warehousing Industries.
Based initially in Accrington’s business hub at the Globe Centre, it soon outgrew the facilities available and moved to its current purpose built premises at Altham, Lancashire. This location serves as the head office and main training centre for the Company. Although the Company headquarters are in Lancashire, much of its business now involves serving customers nationally at a variety of locations around the country and abroad.
Our client base ranges from small, one person operations up to blue chip companies with an international reputation. All our customers get the same first rate service….. that’s why they keep coming back! We are still serving many of the customers we did in our first year in business and a high proportion of our key customers have been using Specialist’s services for well over ten years. We always try and add value to a customer’s business in whatever way we can and wherever possible be the “one stop shop” for our customer’s training needs.
Of course, customer service is one thing, but it counts for little if it is not backed up by professional expertise. We invest heavily in training and developing our staff.
