Burnley’s biggest and brightest canal festival yet takes place this weekend – the festival will be a colourful extravaganza of narrow boats, arts and entertainment. The festival is a FREE entry family event with lots of activities for all ages to enjoy. Opending times – Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th August 11 am & 5 pm

An impressive array of narrow boats and characters will line the canal, with street entertainers, art installations, dancing, canoeing, craft stalls, boat trips and much more.
FREE parking on Saturday 27th will be available on King Street and Finsley Gate Car Parks – other car parks will charge as normal on Saturday. On Sunday ALL Burnley Council car parks are FREE ALL DAY ON SUNDAY – Centenary Way Car Park and Thompson have great access to the straight mile and along to the main festival event sites at the Inn on The Wharf and Sandygate Square – watch out for the boggarts!!
