Burnley-based Mint Business Travel has launched a new app.
The initiative is designed to help companies fulfil their legal and moral duty of care for their staff when travelling abroad. It provides a range of services to SMEs and employees, from itinerary management and the logging of expenses to identifying local points of interest and checking visa requirements.
Steve Hall, founder of Mint, said: “There is a growing burden placed on employers to constantly review health and safety policies for staff who travel and this new app offers a really convenient way to help them mitigate risk.
“In addition, the app provides 24/7 support to those travelling as they can contact us for advice through the chat facility at any time. This is immensely reassuring and means that business travellers can fully concentrate on the job in hand, rather than worrying about their travel arrangements.”
Based at Empire Business Park, Mint Business Travel is a sister company of Mint Holidays, which Hall launched last year to provide luxury and long-haul travels.
