PM+M, the chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group, has been appointed by Spire and will now be supplying various services to it on an ongoing basis including bookkeeping & payroll, management accounts, statutory accounts and auditing.
Spire (Preston) Limited is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that provides individualised support to adults who have learning disabilities in the Preston area. Its vision is for local people who have a learning disability to be empowered to live the life they choose and achieve their goals and dreams. Through its Supported Living and Outreach services Spire organises various groups and activities from community meetings and football to music and healthy lifestyle courses.
The PM+M team will be headed up by Helen Binns who is a partner and head of the firm’s Burnley office. Helen deals with all aspects of accounting, auditing and financial management for charities and companies with turnovers from £50k up to £45m in various sectors including distribution, retail and manufacturing. She will be supported by colleagues from across the firm who will provide their specialist services as and when required.
