LCWS Recycling donates computers to charity

Padiham-based IT and electrical recycling company LCWS Recycling Ltd is pleased to be able to support Lancashire charities with the donation of re-furbished computer hardware. 

Recent organisation that have benefited from donations include:

  • The Whitehough Outdoor Centre in Barley which is now operated by Burnley FC in the Community. The Centre which has undergone a refurbishment programme will benefit local schools, youth and uniformed clubs across Lancashire. The donated laptops will be used across the centre and in classrooms.
  • Blackburn Youth Zone located in the heart of Blackburn attracts young from the local area and across Lancashire. It is open 7 days a week and costs just 50p per day for youngsters to access a wide range of activities in a safe environment. The donated PC’s are to be utilised in a computer suite allowing youngsters to improve their IT skills
  • Pendleside Hospice in Burnley provides specialist and palliative care enhancing the quality of life for people with life limiting illnesses, their families and carers. The donated laptop will be used by their family support team.
