There is so much excitement around the opening of the brand new visitor centre at Moorhouses Brewery especially amongst the guys in the office. As well as the excellent brewery tours there is also a bistro selling food inspired by the local brew – perfect for a night out. Our fingers are crossed that this multi-million pound re-development will prove to be a great success with everyone, we are sure it will be.

As the cotton weaving capital of the world Burnley was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution. Today our mills and links with the cotton industry have changed beyond recognition, with fashion designer replacing cotton weavers. ‘Among Those Dark Satanic Mills’ looks at these changes and how the town is moving forward and attracting visitors who can learn the fascinating stories of our industrial heritage.
