CoolKit Wins National Award

Burnley-based refrigerated vehicle specialist CoolKit Ltd has been awarded Specialist Conversion Company of the Year 2016 by the UK’s leading fleet management specialist Lex Autolease.

The award was presented to CoolKit’s managing director, Rupert Gatty, at the Lex Autolease annual suppliers’ conference November.

Richard Crawford, Lex Autolease Assistant Supplier Manager for Commercial Vehicles, said: “CoolKit have been preferred supplier to Lex Autolease for a number of years and in that time have delivered a consistently high level of service.  The expertise and support of the CoolKit team in helping our customers meet their temperature controlled transport requirements, is delivered with professionalism, innovation, efficiency and within the set time constraints.

Established in 2005, CoolKit is an established provider of a full range of refrigerated vans, fridge van conversions and van insulating kits.  Having enjoyed exceptional growth in recent years, the company now employs more than 70 people on a site of 2.5 acres in Burnley and produces more than 1,500 insulating kits annually.
