Burnley banker, businessman and television personality Dave Fishwick, has been nominated for a BAFTA for the third year in a row.
Dave shot to fame following his Bank Of Dave programme and has now been nominated for his “Lone Ranger” Channel 4 special, which highlighted the plight and misery of those people trapped in payday loan debts.
The special had been nominated in the prestigious Current Affairs category and is up against Panorama and a Scottish Independence documentary.
Mr Fishwick and Finestripe Productions won the features and entertainment category at the BAFTA’s Scotland Awards last year.
The 43-year-old said: “I’m really excited. Channel 4 have been on the phone to congratulate me, they’re really pleased. To get one nomination is amazing but this is our third now so every year we’ve been on TV we’ve been nominated. The BAFTAs is an amazing experience with so many big names there.”
