It’s been 10 years since the renowned Burnley Bondholder Scheme was formed. A strong public/private sector partnership to create a prosperous economic future for Burnley, and to build a quality environment in which our businesses and people can grow. Yesterday Bondholders celebrated 10 years of shining a spotlight on Burnley and sharing stories and messages about the town’s special features, its world class businesses and the live, work and invest opportunities in #BrilliantBurnley.
They looked back on all that has been achieved through the hard work and support of our Bondholders over the past ten years and the huge changes and achievements that have taken place.
Being proud of our Premier League Club and our Premier League town, it seemed fitting to hold the event at our beloved Turf Moor and we were deligthed to be joined by special guest speakers Sean Dyche, Manager, Burnley Football Club, and Tony Livesey, BBC Journalist and reporter, who has been part of our 10 year Bondholder journey.
The event also focussed on what’s in store for Burnley for the next 10 years ensuring Burnley and the Bondholder Scheme (which several other towns and cities are trying to emulate) remain trailblazers in achieving success through partnership.
The Bondholder’s went pitch-side for the finale with singer Sean Ruane and to gather for the anniversary PR pic.
